Tips on How to Unpack with Less Stress
Published on Sunday, 07 February 2010

Tips on How to Unpack with Less Stress You need an action plan even when unpacking. But the key really is to focus on your needs. For instance, when you get to your new home you will need to eat, sleep and bathe.   You could opt to rest first so unpack the bedroom right away. Bring out the linens and make sure that you will have a comfortable sleep on your first night. This is even more important if you have a baby or a toddler.   Everybody would get hungry soon so you better unpack the kitchen soon too. Bring out the pots, pans and all the other kitchen accessories and appliances so you can prepare something to eat for everyone. Make sure you have the eating utensils ready as well.   Next, you'd surely need to freshen up too. A nice shower would be great after an exhausting travel. So it's also important that you also unpack the bathroom next. Bring out the towels and your own toothbrushes and toothpaste too.   Now it's time to beautify the place. Plan the layout of your furniture. It's only after that when you can unpack them. This way you won't tire yourself from shifting heavy furniture and you would not risk damaging the floors either. From here you can now take a slower pace in unpacking the rest of the things. Put other items where they look best and store items that should not be scattered around the place.
