Planning a House Warming Party: Party! Party!
Published on Thursday, 04 February 2010

Planning a House Warming Party: Party! Party! One of the ways to get to know your new neighbors and get together with friends at your new place would be to host a house warming party. Whether it's a modest condominium or a new house, it's good luck to share your new digs with other people.   When planning a housewarming party, the first order of business is of course determining the number or people who will be coming. This will determine the volume of dishes you will be serving and the volume of the food and drinks that you will need in general. You can send out simple invitation to anyone and ask them to RSVP with you. It's a simple phone call to confirm or to cancel - it's not too much trouble to ask, especially that you'll be providing everything.   Planning should start early, and if possible even before you move in. You should of course have already seen the place and know how big the space is, especially when you've moved your stuff in. Of course, you need to be able to move in properly - proper packing of your things beforehand is essential - before you host the party so your guests won't be treated to the sight of boxes scattered all around.
