Moving Long Distances: Easy Steps to MoveIf you are moving long distance, you need to remember that most moving company consider 100 miles as a long distance move, which will affect the price of their services. Moving companies do not charge you according to the number of boxes you need to move, but to the weight of each box and the distance of your relocation.  If you will be hiring a moving company, make sure to have all your legal documents in order to review them. You can do some research on how to move long distances. When you move, make sure your moving company have a licensed to move your things. Check their insurance coverage if they are insured. It will give you an assurance that your moving company can actually pay for your belongings if something happen to them during transit.  Do not forget to inform all your utility bills and your neighboors about your move. It will give you an estimated price of what you will pay after the move. Try to leave your email address to one of your neighbors or someone who could email you immediately, in case someone will look for you in your old address. These are just some of the tips that you could do when you move long distance. Put them on your checklist to use them accordingly when you move.
