Move to Your New Home with Less Clutter
Published on Tuesday, 29 March 2011

Move to Your New Home with Less Clutter Moving into a new home can be a very exciting experience. However, you are not sure what to bring with you and what to leave behind. The most basic tip that will help you with this is the one year rule. Every stuff in your house that you haven't worn, used, or taken out of its box over the year will have to go. This can be really helpful especially in choosing your clothes. Also, when you discover items which you will still need in the future, keep it. Consequently, if you are doubtful if you can ever use a thing again, throw it out. This requires your decision making skills so be critical.

Also, if you have a lot of broken items which are still in your basement because one day you will repair them, it is time to finally decide their fate. If you are determined to fix these items, then keep them. But if you have a newer one, you can easily buy one, or you don't really need it, throw it out.  You are trying to minimize clutter here so why bring a broken thing that will serve no purpose at all? Packing things that has been a part of your life can be hard. But in simple tasks like this, you also have to decide, say good bye and move on.
