Lamps and Lampshades: How to have them Packed Carefully
Lamps and shades are very fragile household stuff.  Apart from being fragile, they are also somehow expensive. Due to this, you need to ensure that they are properly boxed and packed.  Unfortunately, a lot of first time movers do not have the skills and the right techniques to do it.  To help you out, below are the helpful tips to have them packed carefully:

If you have bubblewrap, it is best to use this to cushion and protect the lamp and lampshades perfectly.  The bubblewrap is very effective in protecting not only the breakable parts of the lamp but also protecting the same from scratches. If you will put the lamps in a box, make sure that they are disassembled properly. Remove the bulbs from the lamp and have them securely wrapped.  Make sure that all bulbs have labels to avoid getting mismatched. When loading the boxes on the moving van, make sure that each box is labeled correctly. Usually the labels "handle with care" and "fragile" are best suited to describe what is inside the box.

These are some of the more effective techniques that you can follow in ensuring that you have your valuable lamps and shades safely transported going to the new house.
